No offence Dante, but these awards shows are a cruel joke. Giving awards for "best" when it comes to art like music is at best foolish, at worst an insult to the millions of musicians who actually give a damn about music, not the pomp and circumstance that follows pop artists. There are people in local venues that are 1000x more talented and original than U2 that will never get noticed, simply because of the way the music business works. When you cheer the Grammys, you cheer the music business, which has foisted tons of garbage on people through their control of the radio and TV airwaves. U2 are nothing more than a product of this business.

These awards were for 2005 music, correct? U2's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb was released in 2004. I have a problem with that. I also have a problem with an album as lousy as How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb winning any awards. I think U2 should have spent more time trying to figure out how to Dismantle a Stink Bomb before recording it.

These "Grammy awards", are they for being consistently boring and played out? If so, allow me to echo your wtg. ;)
Ouch. Talk about dismantling atomic bombs. That'll teach me to comment about music. :P
