HArper and the CPC complained it was unethical that Stronach crossed the floor. Is it any surprise that a CPC complaint has been resurrected now that the shoe is on the other foot? Will John Reynolds make another law socity complaint, like he did last time too?
You guys set such a terrible tone in Parliament. It should not surprise you that the CPC will face the very tactics they invented.
BTW, is it unethical for a leader to promise one thing (ie. senate elections) and then do the opposite once elected (appoint Fortier)? Where are the CPC ethicists on that stinker?

GritPatriot, you are spinning the facts so hard your second name must be Maytag!
Doesn't matter how hard you spin this, the Canadian public is well aware that a of MP's crossed to the Libs and there was no involvement by the Ethics Commish....this investigation looks very bad on Shaprio and he will never get rid of the stink. Sorry this one is too big and bold for the public to ever have any faith in him again.

Shapiro's action has just proven what the Conservative said all along. He's a Liberal party puppet.

It's very telling that gritpatriot refers to forced honesty and integrity as "a terrible tone in parliament."
The real hypocrisy here is on Bernard Shapiro's part. He was asked to investigate Stronach et. al. and he didn't. Now on a whim of the opposition (whom he was appointed by) he's investigating Harper. It does not look good on Shapiro's part.
Oh well, they can look all they want. They aren't going to find anything - and unlike the grits, it won't be because the documents have been shredded.
Hey grit patriot, why do you simply cut and paste the same comments onto different blogs?
No thinking involved?

Check the first comment - it's the same as the one gritpatriot used here.
Tsk, Tsk.
