Hezbollah Ignores Ceasefire

And no one is surprised. Unless, of course, you happen to be the UN. Repeat it with me now: a ceasefire with a terrorist organization. A ceasefire with a terrorist organization. Welcome to the new millenium, my friends.

A little bit of unintentional clarity, provided by the AP:

Jamila Marina screamed and collapsed when she saw her destroyed home in Yaroun, a mainly Christian village a few miles south of hard-hit Bint Jbail.

"Why did this happen. What have we done to deserve this!" she yelled.

Rosetta Ajaka, also just returned, found her badly damaged home had been used as a Hezbollah outpost. A rocket launcher still sat in the front garden.

If Lebanese civilians aren't blaming Hezbollah for this conflict, I hope that clears it up for them.

But if you're still not convinced that Hezbollah is to blame, let's compare each side's response to the 'ceasefire.' Sheik Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, has defiantly stated that now is not the time to debate the group's disarmament. Meanwhile, on the other side of the border an Israeli colonel remarked that it was nice to finally be able to hear the birds. If you still have to ask yourself which side has peace as its goal, you're not listening to me.

I'm going on record here. This won't be the last time Israel will be forced to go to war against Hezbollah - of that, you can be sure.
